Our goal is to arouse confidence in our own fundamental goodness and in that of all other living beings to build a grateful society, open and without fear.
The doors of Shambhala and our path of spiritual development through meditation are open to all people. They include a lay path designed specifically for western ones by our founder Chögyam Trungpa.
Here you will find a protected place, full of peace and tranquility, where you can find yourself yourself and with the others and learn to understand them/you better.

You chewing, located in the middle of beautiful hills of a soft green color near Limoges, France, has magnificent centenary trees. This is the main retirement center of our community for practice and study in depth in Europe.
It is a cozy and hospitable place, where people find an environment conducive to learning and practicing meditation and full attention. The natural expression of beauty and fertility of the earth nourishes both the mind and the body. In Dechen Chöling people from different generations and cultures meet. A place to advance your personal development and experience your internal trips in an affectionate environment.
Throughout the year, Dechen Chöling offers programs ranging from basic meditation, the Chi Kung and the contemplative arts to the advanced Buddhist teachings of Shambhala taught by estimated teachers.
